Erin's Wedding

This past weekend I traveled to Arizona for my friend's wedding.
I decided that phoenix is really the armpit of america because it is hotter then any other place I have ever been, I don't know how people live there. Thankfully I spent most of the weekend in Flagstaff, it actually reminded me a lot of the springs.
Chill people and an culture of people that is relaxed.
Very colorado.
The pics below are from the weekend.

Sedona, AZ where the rehearshal dinner was

Christy's baby, Racka. He was sooo stinkin adorable. I wanted to steal him

We used to call her beast, because she was just so... I can't even describe it. If you know erin you know what I am talking about. But we were up late the night before laughing, having good convos, and putting the final touches on the flowers.

The ceremony was outside and one program flew into the water.

Erin decides to go fishing for the program, and do you see that she caught it and the program is in mid air??
So proud of herself.

All in all it was a crazy busy weekend, but so good.
I am happy I got to be a part of Erin's weekend and share great moments with her.
I love her and she is still the best.
Truly one of a kind.
Now to her and kelly.
Blessing.

Dog Sitting

The picture above is of Sadie, Molly, and Jack.
For awhile Rachel and I are taking care of 3 dogs, phew!
So this weekend we went to the dog park on Saturday and Sunday
and came home yesterday and still played some more in the alley because a storm rolled in
yesterday and ended our trip early.
Bagby and Gus met us at the dog park with their owners, even though it was a short trip of seeing jen and carey due to lightning and not wanting to get struck by it :)
After the dog park the dogs got their bones and all sat like this, in fact sadie moved so she could be in line with molly and jack.
I tell ya, one dog is easy, three dogs who are all pretty active is a different story.
But it has been fun, last night I was working on my grad application and they were all curled up around me under the desk.
Dogs are cute and funny to watch all three of them interact. You can definetly tell their different personalities.
At the dog park Sadie just wants to run after the ball, and molly just wants to herd sadie and jack gets a little overwhelmed with the other doggies, but he is doing better;)
Living with 3 dogs should help that.

Treasures

So this weekend, was my bestie's birthday....

So I along a good pal Carey planned a Scavenger hunt all around Colorado Springs
(These girls in this photo are precious to me and have become my family here.
I am so thankful to God for blessing me with such great friends)

The clues included doing things such as finding a random skateboarder at Memorial Park and taking a picture of them, sending pics to me on my phone from a local ice cream shop, and other such random things.

Running around all over the Springs looking for the next clue.

We split the people into 5 teams, and through my phone freezing, and people running stop lights, getting pulled over for speeding, interrupting
a wedding at Shov Chapel, having the clues blow all around it was still a success. Everyone had fun I think :) Even carey and I had fun and we weren't even playing.

One story from the hunt, one of the clues talked about a brass family that fishes for men, and to think of opposites so we put old muerta ( opposite being young live). Hence the Young Life building here has a brass statue in the front of it. But one team interpreted that as New Life Church which is 20 minutes north of the springs, when they called me I was like oh no. So they were troopers and finished the whole hunt completely even with positive attitudes. So they along with the first team, and of course Rachel all received prizes.

The rest of the night was filled with presents, food, cake, ice cream, beer, rock band, lots of laughter. Thanks again Rach for being born and being my best friend and as close as a sister.

Hope your weekend was fun as mine :)
