Fun Girls Night

These videos are from a fun girls night we had with my bible study girls. We were playing the game "girl talk" and these dares were a few of my favs, Allison had to sing the song "RESPECT" and Jennifer had to push a quarter across the room with her nose. Enjoy!

P.s. Neither one of them knew I was taking videos of them ;o)

Congrats Jennifer

These pictures are from last week when a whole bunch of us got together to celebrate Jennifer getting a job! We surprised her and it was great!

Congrats again Jennifer I am so proud of you!

My Morning View

“Come now, let’s settle this,”says the Lord.“Though your sins
are like scarlet,I will make them as white as snow.Though they are red like
crimson,I will make them as white as wool.
-Isaiah 1:18
This is my view in the morning when I walk out of my apartment. Aren't I lucky? I was talking with jen about how neither of us appreciate the cold weather, however when it is cold and you walk outside and see the mountains it just automatically puts you in a good mood. I don't know how anyone here in Colorado can not fall to their knees in appreciation of how amazing God's creation is. I know I do.

January

Hi!!!!
I have so much to update on because I have not posted in a long time. This phase in my life has been a lot of transition and making life decisions . . which is hard. I was contemplating moving back home to pursue my masters and be around my family while my sister is PREGNANT!!! Yes for those of you who don't know my little sister is pregnant and due August 14th, let's hope it is a little early so the baby and I can share the same bday!

But alas that is not happening due to financial reasons. So I am going to go to grad school for my masters in social work here in Colorado starting next year in May up in Ft. Collins. So also I am moving to the south end of town, which requires packing up all my stuff. That also has not been fun. The apartment I live in now Rachel and I each have our own bathroom and the new one has only one so that will be a transition. I am also being nice and letting rachel have the bigger bedroom. Man I am so nice :o) Just kidding. So that is all happening.

Other than that things are going good. I am still involved in my small groups and things are going soo well with that. I love the group and being part of a community again. It is nice to have that.

This weekend was spent drinking wine with the girls from small group and playing girl talk awesome!, babysitting sweet Issybella on Saturday night, hanging out at Mike and Cathy's for a football party on Sunday night (too bad the packers lost), and yesterday packing. All in all a good weekend!

This morning I woke up and the moutains were amazing. The air was so cold it was like it was crystalized and the air was catching the sun and it was this pink hue. Amazing!!! Even though it was only 1 degree out when I got into my car.

Miss you all. How are you doing today? Really?

stresses

This week has been stressful. Trying to make big decisions about my future is hard. So I am also trying to figure out my finances and going back to school and setting up a budget and I came to a sad realization. . . i don't make a lot of money. :o(

Yeah i know this should have been a realization before and it has been but my goodness, it has hit me more this week. I have tried to sit down with rachel and her brother has so graciously to help me out...putting it all down on a list. Not fun.

But a fun note yesterday while I was in my car and saw a homeless man and he was playing the drums...however he was not listening to any music and he was playing drums that did not exist. However he seemed like he knew what he was doing. That made me smile.
