January

Hi!!!!
I have so much to update on because I have not posted in a long time. This phase in my life has been a lot of transition and making life decisions . . which is hard. I was contemplating moving back home to pursue my masters and be around my family while my sister is PREGNANT!!! Yes for those of you who don't know my little sister is pregnant and due August 14th, let's hope it is a little early so the baby and I can share the same bday!

But alas that is not happening due to financial reasons. So I am going to go to grad school for my masters in social work here in Colorado starting next year in May up in Ft. Collins. So also I am moving to the south end of town, which requires packing up all my stuff. That also has not been fun. The apartment I live in now Rachel and I each have our own bathroom and the new one has only one so that will be a transition. I am also being nice and letting rachel have the bigger bedroom. Man I am so nice :o) Just kidding. So that is all happening.

Other than that things are going good. I am still involved in my small groups and things are going soo well with that. I love the group and being part of a community again. It is nice to have that.

This weekend was spent drinking wine with the girls from small group and playing girl talk awesome!, babysitting sweet Issybella on Saturday night, hanging out at Mike and Cathy's for a football party on Sunday night (too bad the packers lost), and yesterday packing. All in all a good weekend!

This morning I woke up and the moutains were amazing. The air was so cold it was like it was crystalized and the air was catching the sun and it was this pink hue. Amazing!!! Even though it was only 1 degree out when I got into my car.

Miss you all. How are you doing today? Really?

Katie,
Your weekend sounds fun. Filled with good friends and good fun. All good stuff.
Today is chilly here too. Lots of snow. The sun just came out (which is a BIG deal for Michigan) and it's kind of pretty - although I'm ready for it to melt.
Ben is in Phoenix this week - lucky guy! Avary and I are hanging out and I'm kind of tired as I'm the lone ranger. (You asked how I really was....) But it's the tired that I welcome - just trying to keep Ms. Avary's world plugging along.
Glad to see you posting again.
Love you,
Robin

How about you add the fact that your really nice roommate, has let you have the bigger bedroom for the last 9 months at no cost to you! Or the fact that the bedroom isn't bigger....the closet is just a little bigger...does it hurt your back to kiss your own butt like that??
